Shower ScreensUltimate’s core business is shower screens. We specialise in all shower screens, frameless 10mm, 6mm perimeter semi frameless, 6mm semi frameless, framed shower screens & bath screens. 10mm toughened shower screens come in many designs to suit your now modern bathroom with either channel or patch fitted to the wall. Primarily silicone is the main ingredient fixing glass to your walls; doors can be hung from either the wall or off a glass panel, 2 hinges normally are used and can carry up to 45kg, though 3 hinges are required. A vast range of handle are available. All fittings are sourced from Fethers Glazing System Top quality fittings made of brass and come in either Chrome Satin or Gold finish, bath shower screens are also available most commonly a fix and swing. Ultimate has a unique range of semi frameless shower screens. 1st of all a 6mm toughened glass perimeter screen where a 25mm aluminium frame is fitted to the perimeter of the 6mm glass giving a cost effective way of achieving a frameless look at a fraction of the cost more often with a pivot door but can be done with side hinges. One thing to keep in mind with either 10mm fully frameless and 6mm perimeter framed screens because they are inlined panels 3mm gaps are open and some water loss is unavoidable, building inspectors expect either the shower screens to be sealed or a floor waste fitted. Semi frameless and framed pivot showers are the standard screens we use day in day out, the pivot panel overlaps so reducing water loss and a magnetic door seal keeps the door closed tight.
